High-volume hiring

An AI interviewer for high-volume hiring

Hure is an AI interviewer that gives every applicant a first-round interview, including the ones a recruiter would never have had time to call: a natural 8–10 minute voice interview in the candidate's language, scored against the same sealed rubric. Your team reviews evidence-backed scorecards and decides who moves forward.

01

Why is the first round the bottleneck in high-volume hiring?

Every later stage of a hiring process handles a shortlist, while the first round handles everyone. When each first conversation needs a recruiter on a live call, the number of applicants a team can hear is capped by calendar hours, scheduling back-and-forth, no-shows and time zones. Something gives: screens get shorter, some applicants are judged on a résumé alone, and the candidate booked late on a Friday gets a more tired hearing than the one booked on a Tuesday morning.

02

How many hours do 200 first-round screens take?

Plain arithmetic for one role, assuming a 30-minute screening call. No team's results are in these numbers.

  • 200 applicants × 30 minutes = 100 hours of live screens.
  • 100 hours ÷ 40 hours a week = 2.5 working weeks for one recruiter, before scheduling, reschedules and no-shows.
  • Half the volume still costs 100 × 30 minutes = 50 hours.
  • When an AI interviewer runs round one, the live-screen hours are 0, and recruiter time moves to reading 200 scorecards and talking to the shortlist.
03

How does an AI interviewer keep hundreds of interviews consistent?

Hure drafts the rubric from the job posting, you edit and seal it, and every applicant for the role is measured against that same version. Each interview covers the same competencies to the depth the rubric sets, uses follow-ups only from the techniques you approved, and closes on time. Every score cites a verbatim moment in the transcript, so two reviewers reading the same scorecard see the same evidence. Hure judges what candidates say, never how they look or sound.

04

How do applicants move through a high-volume process with Hure?

Hure prepares each candidate's single-use link and tracks who has started; email invitations and reminders are enabled per team during early access. Candidates take the interview from one browser link, with no app or account, now or at a time they choose. Workflows automates the steps around the interview: start a flow when an interview is created, completed or abandoned, wait with respect for each candidate's time zone and quiet hours, and route candidates on the overall score or on a single competency. You can start from the high-volume template and adjust it. Workflows has no reject action, so adverse outcomes go to a review queue and a person resolves each one.

Frequently asked questions

Can Hure interview every applicant for a role?

Hure runs each first-round interview asynchronously, so every applicant can take it on their own time without a recruiter booking a call. Applicants open one browser link on a phone or laptop, with no app or account.

How is Hure billed at high volume?

Hure is billed per completed interview, on a monthly plan sized to the interview volume you expect. Invitations are free and an abandoned interview is not billed, so an applicant who never starts costs nothing.

What happens when an applicant doesn't finish the interview?

Hure prepares each candidate's single-use link and tracks who has started; email invitations and reminders are enabled per team during early access. Workflows can start a flow when an interview is abandoned, for example to send another reminder or a signed webhook to your own systems.

Can Hure start interviews from our ATS?

Hure can import a job's candidates in bulk from Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby and start an interview when a candidate reaches a stage you choose. Integrations are enabled per team during early access.

The guarantees that don't change

  • Voice-to-voice interviews across 100+ languages, in the candidate's language.
  • A live, two-way conversation: Hure listens, builds each follow-up from what the candidate just said, lets them interrupt, and comes back to what they said earlier.
  • Candidates can ask about the role mid-interview. Hure answers from facts the hiring team approved and says when it doesn't know.
  • Each interview runs about 8–10 minutes.
  • Every score is tied to a citable moment in the transcript, so each scorecard is evidence-backed.
  • No biometrics: Hure judges what candidates say, never how they look or sound.
  • Candidates need no app or account, just one browser link on a phone or laptop.
  • A human always makes the final hiring decision.
