An AI interviewer for staffing and recruiting agencies

Hure is an AI interviewer that runs the first round for every candidate on every client role: a natural 8–10 minute voice interview, scored against one sealed rubric per role, with every score citing the transcript. Your recruiters spend their hours on shortlists and clients, and a person always makes the hiring decision.

01

Why does first-round screening cap how many client roles an agency can work?

An agency's value to a client is a strong shortlist, delivered fast, and the first-round screen is where recruiter hours go before a shortlist exists. Every new client role brings another stack of applicants, and every recruiter screens a little differently. When screens pile up, they get shorter or get skipped, and the shortlist starts to depend on which recruiter had time that week more than on who fits the role.

02

How does an AI interviewer keep candidates comparable within each client role?

Each client role gets its own rubric: Hure drafts it from the client's job description, your recruiter reviews and edits it, and sealing it fixes the version before the first interview. Every candidate for that role is measured against that version, with the same competencies and observable levels, whichever recruiter sent the invitation. Hure follows up only with the techniques approved for each competency, such as a specific example, the candidate's own part in the work or a time something went wrong. Because the version is fixed, a scorecard from Monday and one from Friday measure the same thing, and you can show a client exactly which standard produced each score.

03

How many recruiter hours do first-round screens take across client roles?

Plain arithmetic for one recruiter, assuming 30-minute screening calls. No agency's results are in these numbers.

  • 6 client roles × 40 applicants each = 240 candidates to screen.
  • 240 × 30 minutes = 120 hours of screening calls.
  • 120 hours ÷ 40 hours a week = 3 working weeks for one recruiter, before scheduling, reschedules and no-shows.
  • When an AI interviewer runs round one, the live-call hours in that sum are 0, and recruiter time moves to reviewing scorecards and presenting shortlists.
04

What evidence can an agency show a client?

Every Hure scorecard gives a score for each competency next to the transcript quote that earned it, so a recommendation can point to what the candidate actually said. Hure judges what candidates say, never how they look or sound, which keeps the evidence about the work. Results can go where your team already works: emailed through Gmail to the recipients you choose, attached to the matching HubSpot contact, posted to a Slack channel or written to a Notion page. For any other system, Workflows can send signed webhooks to an endpoint you choose.

Frequently asked questions

Can Hure use a different rubric for each client role?

Hure drafts a separate rubric for each role from its job description, and once your team reviews and seals it, every candidate for that role is scored against the same version. Each client role keeps its own standard, and scorecards within a role stay comparable.

What happens when a client changes the role mid-search?

Hure keeps every sealed rubric as a fixed version, so when a client changes the role, your team seals a new version and earlier scorecards stay tied to the version that produced them. You always know which standard each candidate was measured against.

Does Hure work with the CRM our agency uses?

Hure attaches each interview result to the matching HubSpot contact. For any other CRM or ATS, Workflows can send signed webhooks and HTTP requests to an endpoint you choose, and integrations are enabled per team during early access.

Who can see the interviews an agency runs in Hure?

Hure keeps interviews and scorecards access-controlled to your own team, with row-level security separating each account's data in the database. Hure does not store interview audio: it keeps the transcript and the scorecard derived from it.

The guarantees that don't change

  • Voice-to-voice interviews across 100+ languages, in the candidate's language.
  • A live, two-way conversation: Hure listens, builds each follow-up from what the candidate just said, lets them interrupt, and comes back to what they said earlier.
  • Candidates can ask about the role mid-interview. Hure answers from facts the hiring team approved and says when it doesn't know.
  • Each interview runs about 8–10 minutes.
  • Every score is tied to a citable moment in the transcript, so each scorecard is evidence-backed.
  • No biometrics: Hure judges what candidates say, never how they look or sound.
  • Candidates need no app or account, just one browser link on a phone or laptop.
  • A human always makes the final hiring decision.
